Sheikh Zahid is a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah majoring in Shariah, he is fluent in Arabic, English,panjabi, and Urdu. His depth of knowledge & experience makes him amongst the foremost leaders in Houston, Texas. His strengths include the abililty to bridge gaps between people of all ages and ethnicities.
His communication skills are well recognized and he is regularly invited to speak at conferences throughout the US. Sheikh Zahid is best known for his Qirat (recitation of the Quran.) and khutbahs. People have been known to travel far and wide to listen to his recitation and khutba. Imam Zahid is a great asset for the Houston Muslim Community and insha'Allah will be a greater asset for our Hajj Group. Sheikh Zahid Abdullah is currently the Imam of Masjid Abu Bakr of Houston, TX. He is also well known int he Atlanta community having served as the Imam of Alfarooq Masjid of Atlanta for years prior.
